Imaging Solutions - 2D sensing of oxygen-, pH- and CO2- distributions: Seeing the invisible!

Software
The software allows controlling the image recording process and assists image processing and evaluation. An easy to use camera controlling user interface manages image acquisition and storage. Measurements which belong together can be organized as user defined sessions in separate folders and annotated with a free text comment.

Acquired images can be single images or recorded time series. Therefore, both can be assessed spatial and temporal changes of analyte concentration. Evaluation is done with an easy to use software module which supports single image or time series processing. The software allows automated loading and processing of single images or time series ("image stacks") and accessing many sample information.

Examples for the provided features are:
a) displaying the sensor response as false color image together with the respective colorbar,
b) displaying the actual pixel information if moving the mouse cursor over the image,
c) displaying ROI statistics of user defined polygon ROIs,
d) interactive x- and y-axis profiles for visualizing gradients within a single image,
e) z-axis profiles for plotting e.g. ROI average at defined coordinates through the image stack of a time series,
f) follow kinetics through a time series and display as 2D-plot,
g) side-by-side image comparison of selected images of a stack and
h) alpha blending of the false color sensor response with respective color image
