Oxygen Exchange Cap

The Oxygen Exchange Cap (OEC) is the robust metal cap which is screwed on the metal fitting of an OIM (Oxygen Probe for In-line Measurement). The OEC is available for PSt3 and PSt6 sensor types and enables measurements down to 1 ppb dissoved oxygen. It is extremely stable and can stand steam sterilization and CIP (90 °C, 5 % NaOH). In contrast to classical oxygen electrodes, membrane cleaning and frequent replacement is not necessary. The OEC has a long sensor shelf life and is mainly used for measurements in the brewing industry and steel fermenters.
