Oxygen Probe Integrated in Varivent Valves

An Oxygen Exchange Window (OEW) is integrated in a Varivent Closure. The oxygen probe has an extremely fast response time and measurements down to 1 ppb dissolved oxygen are possible. It is very robust and can stand steam sterilization, cleaning conditions of 130 °C and 1.5 atm, and CIP (90 °C, 5 % NaOH). A typical application for these sensor probes is in-line measurement in breweries. It is possible to easily exchange a used sensor coating by just exchanging the OEW.
