This new solution for non-invasive temperature measurement is designed for seamless integration as the sensor is placed on the outside of a rigid bioreactor or below flexible bags, without penetrating the bag. The TEP-IR measurements between + 15 °C and + 45 °C are taken through a special transparent plastic window or the plastic reactor wall.
Users in cell culture labs for research or small-scale production can rely on a high accuracy and they save time and effort, as no insertion of the probe is required and, therefore, there is no need for sensor sterilization.
