Optimize Cultivation Parameters Systematically
June 15, 2016The revised SFR vario software “PreSens Flask Studio v.2.0” convinces with new features & functions, and is therefore an even better control center for the Shake Flask Reader.
The software for online O2, OUR, pH & biomass monitoring in shake flasks includes now a detect angle, which is used for biomass measurements; it helps to determine the right angle for biomass measurement adjustment. And the new one-point adjustment for biomass allows the user to zero the biomass reading at any time.
Experience has shown that users might want to display only one or two data series when measuring multiple parameters, which is now possible with the “Hide / Show Data” within the graphical display. Everybody may now create ones’ own lab journal by adding comments or listing certain actions in the annotation dialog, which will be stored with the measurement data.
Last but not least it is also possible to set amplitude limits for O2, pH or biomass amplitudes. This can be used if the flask is taken off the SFR vario for sampling or other analysis during a running measurement. PreSens works constantly on quality improvements so that its customers can rely on state-of-the-art products.
