Portable Oxygen Measurement System with Wireless Control

OXYBase® Blue

The OXYBase® Blue is a battery-powered oxygen measurement system controlled by smartphone (Android or iOS app). It consists of a robust OXYBase® probe (max. 0 - 100 % O2, limit of detection 0.03 % O2) with integrated temperature sensor and stainless steel housing, which is connected to a Bluetooth module. The Bluetooth module together with a data logger, and pressure sensor - for automatic compensation of the oxygen measurements - are integrated in a lightweight water jet protected housing (IP65). The device is controlled wirelessly via smartphone and the PreSens Wireless Studio app. The software allows changing measurement settings, controlling the measurements or calibrating the sensor, and offers additional features like salinity compensation. The graphical display of the ongoing measurement offers quick assessment of oxygen levels. Stored measurement data can be downloaded from the device to the smartphone and exported for further analysis. The app is available in the Google Play store and Apple App Store.

Applications

Oxygen Monitoring in Aquaculture

OXYBase® are the solution to control dissolved oxygen in aquaculture. The robust probes can be connected to control units so ideal water conditions can be assured, thus also helping to increase yield. OXYBase® are real low-maintenance probes, as a used sensor can simply be replaced by changing the OEC at the probe tip.


Biological & Environmental Research

The Fibox 4 and Fibox 4 trace are idealy suited for field research. With the robust, splash proof housing the devices can be operated even in harsh conditions. The long lasting battery and almost unlimited storage capacity allow for prolonged computer-independent use. Additionally, special energy management settings for long term measurements can be applied. The intuitive user interface and implemented functions like graphical display of the measurements ensure comfortable and comprehensive application without having to connect the device to a PC / notebook. Combined with different types of dipping probes, and non-invasive sensors the compact Fibox 4 and Fibox 4 trace can be applied in any situation where precise oxygen measurement is needed.
