Electro-Optical Module EOM-O2-FOM

Electro-Optical Module EOM-O2-FOM

The EOM-O2-FOM is a precise, single channel module for non-invasive O2 measurement. It is compatible with sensor spots, probes, and flow-through cells of type PSt3 (max. measurement range 0 – 100 % O2, limit of detection 0.03 % O2). The small outer dimensions and low power consumption enable the simple integration into custom monitoring and control systems. The device uses RS232, RS485 or USB 2.0 as a digital interface. A serial communication protocol is offered for data exchange between a PC or another host unit and the EOM. Additionally, the EOM has 4 to 20 mA analog output and a Pt100 temperature sensor interface for temperature compensation of the oxygen measurements.

Electro-Optical Module EOM-pH-PHB50

The EOM-pH-PHB50 is a precise, single channel module for non-invasive pH measurement. It is compatible with sensor types HP5 & HP8 (pH 5.5 – 8.5). The small outer dimensions and low power consumption make it very easy to integrate this board in custom monitoring and control systems. EOM-pH-PHB50 uses RS232, RS485 or USB 2.0 as digital interface. A serial communication protocol is offered for data exchange between a PC or another host unit and the EOM. Additionally, the device has 4 to 20 mA analog output and a Pt100 temperature sensor interface for temperature compensation of the pH measurements.

Electro-Optical Module EOM-CO2-FOM

The EOM-CO2-FOM are precise, single channel modules for non-invasive measurement. They are compatible with sensors type CD1 (measurement range from 10 - 250 hPa pCO2). The small outer dimensions and low power consumption enable a simple integration into custom monitoring and control systems. A serial communication protocol is offered for data exchange between a PC or another host unit and the EOM. RS232, RS485 or USB 2.0 is used as a digital interface. Additionally, the EOMs have 4 to 20 mA analog output. A Pt100 temperature sensor interface and the on-board pressure sensor ensure temperature and pressure compensated CO2 measurements.

Single-Use Optical Sensor Sticks for Luer Connectors

Luer Lock adapters are equipped with miniaturized optical sensors and can easily be installed in customer specific flow-through cells or experimental set-ups via Luer connector. With a polymer optical fiber, the sensor sticks are connected to small OEM boards (stand-alone devices are also offered), which can be integrated in the customers’ control and monitoring units, and non-invasive measurements can be performed.
The sensor sticks for oxygen, pH or pCO2 monitoring are packed in irradiated squeeze bags filled with physiological saline solution, so the sensors are pre-conditioned and ready for measurements. The separate sensor components allow for the decoupling of sensor shelf life from the shelf life of pre-sterilized single-use bioreactors, facilitating supply chain of these components. Furthermore, the sensors can be safely installed under Laminar flow before they are connected to the measurement unit.

Polymer Optical Fiber POF

A polymer optical fiber (POF) is needed to transfer excitation light to the sensor and the sensor response back to the meter. We offer different versions for different meters depending on their optical connector type. A POF enables non-invasive and non-destructive measurements to be made from the outside through the wall of a transparent or slightly colored container. The POF with SMA connector is compatible with meters of the Fibox, OXY-1 SMA, OXY-1 WM,OXY mini and pH mini series, as well as the pCO2 mini. The POF with ST connector is compatible with meters of the Microx 4 and OXY-1 ST series. Different standard lengths are offered, e. g. 2.5 m, and fibers with connectors on one or both ends are available, depending on your adapter or sensor application.
