Can the VisiSens CO2 sensor foils also be used in the gas phase?
The CO2 sensor foils are intended for measurements in the liquid phase. The prerequisite for measurements in the gas phase is high and constant relative humidity (close to 100 %). A (partial) drying out of the CO2 sensor will result in a signal change which is not due to a change in CO2 concentration, so please avoid drying of the sensor!
