What is the difference between OXY-1 SMA and OXY-1 ST?

OXY-1 SMA & OXY-1 SMA trace work with sensors type PSt3 & PSt6 based on a 2 mm fiber. These sensors are available as spots, dipping probes and flow-through cells.

OXY-1 ST & OXY-1 ST trace work with sensors type PSt7 & PSt8 based on a 1 mm or 200/230 µm fiber. These sensors are available in different microsensor designs as well as spots, dipping probes and flow-through cells.

In case you need a device to work with microsensors and spots (or dipping probes and FTCs) you should use an OXY-1 ST device. If you do not need the application of microsensors you should apply an OXY-1 SMA device.
