What is the measurement angle and how is it determined?
The measurement angle is the position where the measurement is taken. It ensures that the light emitted by the reader optics always finds the media sickle. This is important to achieve the best biomass measurement results. It is not required for pH, O2 and OUR measurements. The correct measurement angle depends on the cultivation conditions and has to be determined. It can't be calculated. The Angle Detect function of the PreSens Flask Studio software supports finding the right angle.
