Why are there two different calibration data sets for SensorDishes®?

Differences between calibration and measurement temperature are accounted for in the oxygen calculation formula. However, the oxygen signal is most accurate if the difference between these two temperatures is small.
In the pH equation there is no temperature compensation, as the pH sensor has much smaller temperature dependency than the oxygen sensor.
To enhance the accuracy, we supply two sets of calibration data, one obtained at 23 °C (room temperature), which is used for measurement temperatures below 30 °C, and one at 37 °C (standard incubator temperature), which is used for measurement temperatures of 30 °C or higher. Depending on the measurement temperature entered by the user before starting the measurement, the software automatically chooses the respective data set for calculation.
