Forum Shaking Technology started in early 2009 and since then, its web page www.shakingtechnology.com has attracted both newcomers and experienced researchers from the field of shaking bioreactors. The web site is now well established with visitors from academia and industry. 

The cornerstone of this successful concept is undoubtedly "Dr Shaker" who will answer any question about shaking technology. "Dr Shaker" is not just a catchy title for FAQs, but is actually a network of specialists from universities and companies who answer every question individually and in-depth. Visitors to Forum Shaking Technology can also access the free publication database which currently offers more than 450 entries about shaken bioreactors. This database contains broad search functions and is continously updated. In addition, users can sign up for the newsletter "Shaken - not stirred" which highlights new developments and features a scientific paper. Information about trade fairs, news and innovative products complete the offering from the forum.

Forum Shaking Technology is supported by four partner companies covering shaking machines, chemical-optical sensors, laboratory glassware and plastic products for tissue culture. A.
