How do I interpret the error code in the measurement data string of my EOM-O2-FOM / EOM-tO2-FOM / EOM-pH-PHB50 / EOM-CO2-FOM?

The numeric error value in the measurement data string is based on this formula:
2 Bit number = value   (see data string output in table below)

Example 1:
E00000001 = 1 = 20 = Bit 0 -> No Pt100 temperature sensor connected

If several errors occur at the same time, the numeric error values are added together.

Example 2:
E00002080 = 2048 + 32 = 211 + 25 = Bit 11 + Bit 5 -> Temperature too high, and photo diode saturated

Bit Error Description Data String Output
0 No Pt100 No Pt100 connected to the device, or Pt100 not correctly connected E00000001
1 No Sensor No sensor is connected. (Amplitude < 1000) E00000002
2 Signal amplitude too low Signal amplitude < 3000 E00000004
3 reserved - -
4 Reference amplitude out of range Contact service team E00000016
5 Photo diode saturated Warning: Ambient light or signal strength too high (Measurement is still functioning correctly!) E00000032
6 Reference overflow Reference strength too high. Contact service team E00000064
7 Signal overflow Signal strength too high. Decrease signal current E00000128
8 reserved - -
9 reserved - -
10 reserved - -
11 Temperature too high The max. allowed temperature is reached (see command "ltop") E00002048
12 reserved - -
13 Pulse Counter overflow The pulse counter has reached the pulse counter overflow limit E00008192
14 - 19 reserved - -
20 Selftest error Selftest error occurred (see Tab. 10 in Communication Protocol) E01048576
