I formerly used the Oxygen BioSensor (OBS) from BD. Can I use the OxoPlate as a substitute?

Yes, you can use the OxoPlate for the same assays as the OBS. The difference is that due to the reference dye of the OxoPlate, you can easily calculate the oxygen content in each well - of all plates of the same batch - after a 2-point calibration of only a few wells. Another difference is the fast response time of < 30 s of the OxoPlate.
