The Bluetooth connection to my SFR vario failed during a running measurement and data recording was interrupted. What can I do to prevent this?
In case you are using Windows 10, a Windows-based problem can occur, caused by certain power settings. You will need Admin rights for the PC / laptop you are using to fix the problem - else contact you IT support. Please follow these steps:
- Open the Control Panel > Device Manager on your PC / laptop and click on Bluetooth.
- Perform a right mouse click on the SFR vario Bluetooth 4.0 USB Device and select Properties.
3. Click on the Power Management tab in the Properties window. There you have to deselect the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' checkbox to prevent Windows from turning off the Bluetooth connection when the computer turns into sleep mode.
