Fast Sensor Response Increases the Chances for Patients
December 6, 2010At the MEDTECH 2011 PreSens again demonstrates its expertise in the field of medical technology. Last year´s visit already showed that there is a growing market for state-of-the-art sensor technology in the medical sector.
Chemical optical sensors with outstanding technical data in regards to long-term stability, resolution and fast response time can help increasing the recovery chances for patients by precise pO2 measurements. Especially the flexible nature of our sensors enables a multitude of applications. Minimal invasive brain sensors, for example, can help avoiding secondary cerebral damage caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. Chemical optical sensors can also be applied in perfusion cells to measure arterial pO2. The displayed EOM-O2-mini is PreSens´ solution for original equipment manufacturers of medical devices. Assembled according to ISO 9001:2008 and EN ISO 13485:2003+2009AC it guarantees precise oxygen measurements and for its small footprint it can be easily integrated. Most of all the patients will profit from this advanced technology: only fast and accurate oxygen readings will help surgeons making fast decisions and take appropriate measures.
