PreSens at the REWAG Company Run 2015
July 14, 2015For the second time PreSens participated at the "REWAG Firmenlauf". The yearly event took place last Wednesday, July 8th, and went along a 7 km course through the "new east" district of Regensburg.
After a normal day´s work 12 of our staff members changed into their sport outfits and gathered at the starting point at the REWAG company premises. Lucky for them the heat wave torturing Germany for almost a week came to an abrupt end the day before, so they had ideal, cool and dry running conditions.
With more than 1,800 runners from over 140 local companies, this year´s company run had record attendance, but the PreSens team members seemed unimpressed by the competition. With final rankings from the top 50 to the middle field our team again showed its fitness and endurance. But it was not the ranking that counted: Participating and showing team spirit apart from every day´s work is the main focus in this event ... and supporting a social project. Part of this year´s attendance fee will back up the project "Mama learns German" giving language courses for young refugee mothers.
