Online pH monitoring in disposable bioreactors
pH Nice Port
This port with integrated sensor is for customized application in bioreactors or containers like storage and mixing bags. It is designed mainly for cell culture but can also be used for monitoring microbial fermentation. The port is made of polyethylene which allows easy welding with the bags. A color-coded polymer optical fiber is attached to the port from the outside to read out the sensor. The pH Nice Port enables contactless measurements in culture bags, so there is no risk of contamination.
- Online pH monitoring in single-use bioreactors
- Contactless measurements, no risk of contamination
- Easy integration by welding
- Pre-calibrated sensor
Applications
Pharma Industry: pH Monitoring in Bags
Bags and single-use bioreactors are in the process of revolutionising the way biopharmaceuticals are manufactured. Our non-invasive pH sensors are the tools to make the cultivation vessels fully disposable. As non-invasive DO sensors are also available, the two key parameters oxygen and pH can be controlled online.
