Can I sterilize fiber optic sensors?
Yes, certain oxygen, pH & CO2 sensors can be autoclaved. We offer non-autoclavable (NAU) and autoclavable (YAU) O2 sensors. Self-adhesive pH sensors and the CO2 sensor type CD1T are also autoclavable. While the YAU oxygen sensors stand about 50 autoclaving cycles, the autoclavable pH and CO2 sensors tolerate only one-time autoclaving.
