January 10, 2017In January 1997 - exactly 20 years ago - PreSens Precision Sensing GmbH was founded as spin-off from the University of Regensburg. Still at the same site in Bavaria, PreSens is today one of the leaders in the field of chemical optical sensor technology!
During the last two decades PreSens entered varios business fields so customers come from a wide variety of industries, including Biology & Environment, Biotech & Pharma, Medical & Life Sciences, Food & Beverage and Industry & Technical. And, due to our OEM business, there are numerous more products on the market which rely on our experience and innovations - PreSens inside. PreSens’ customers are not only all around the world, but also doing deep sea research as well as satellite missions.
PreSens staff members work hard on continuing this success story “Made in Germany”. “This requires lasting improvements and convincing inventions”, says Dr. Gernot T.
