Replacement Oxygen Sensor for OIM
Oxygen Exchange Cap OEC-PSt3-YAU
The Oxygen Exchange Cap is made of stainless steel and has an integrated sensor type PSt3. The sensor has a maximum measurement range of 0 - 100 % oxygen, and a detection limit of 0.03 % oxygen / 20 ppb. It stands steam sterilization and cleaning in place. The cap is available in different versions: USP Class VI compatible (YOP) for bioprocess monitoring, safe for food applications (CAF), or with a hydrophobic Teflon coating (PTFE) for measurements in aggressive environments. The cap can be screwed to the top of an OIM (Oxygen Probe for In-line Measurement) fitting. A used sensor on the probe can easily be exchanges as sensor calibration can be done via one fast barcode scan.
- Maximum measurement range from 0 - 100 % O2
- Different versions: USP Class VI compatible, food applications, aggressive environments
- Stands SIP (max. + 140 °C, 1.5 atm) & CIP (2 % NaOH, + 80 °C)
- Easy exchange due to barcode calibration
- Pressure resistant
Applications
Process Control in Biotech & Pharma
The OIMs, the oxygen probes for in-line measurement, are designed for harsh measurement conditions. These systems give high accuracy and are almost maintenance-free as they do not contain any membranes and electrolytes. The sensors are fully autoclavable and sterilizable (CIP & SIP).
In-line Oxygen Measurement in Brewing and Beverage Industry
Even low concentrations of oxygen influence shelf-life and the taste of certain beverages. Due to the extraordinary low detection limit and outstanding accuracy of PreSens trace oxygen sensors, the quality of oxygen-sensitive products such as beer, wine and soft drinks is secured.
The optical sensors have – compared to standard electrodes – a very fast response time and they are very easy to maintain.
