Probe for Dissolved & Gaseous Oxygen Measurements
Wide Range Oxygen Probe OXYPro® WR, WR-ECS & WRM
(max. 0 - 100 % O2)
The OXYPro® WR & WRM combine an optical sensor type PSt7 and electro-optical module in one probe. The sensor has a maximum measurement range of 0 - 100 % O2, and a detection limit of 0.03 % O2 / 20 ppb. It is integrated in a removable sensor cap (OEC), which can easily be exchanged. These exchange caps are available in different versions for certain demands (USP Class VI compatible, fast response time, safe for food applications, for measurements in aggressive environments, reduced air bubble formation). The wide range OXYPro® are ideally suited for application in the biotech sector. They are directly connected to the control unit and have a standard PG 13.5 stainless steel thread for easy integration at the measurement site. As a digital interface these probes use RS485 (OXYPro® WR = PreSens proprietary, OXYPro® WRM = Modbus RTU) and have 4 - 20 mA analog output. Optional ECS output is available also. A serial communication protocol is offered for data exchange between the OXYPro® and a PC or other host unit. For initial operation and adjustment of the 4 - 20 mA output the PreSens EOM-STS software can be used.
- Maximum measurement range of 0 - 100 % O2, detection limit 0.03 % O2
- Ideal for O2 monitoring in the biotech sector
- Different versions: USP Class VI compatible, food applications, reduced bubble formation, aggressive environments
- Stands SIP (recommended: + 121 °C, 30 min) & CIP (2 % NaOH, + 80 °C)
- Simple integration due to standard PG 13.5 thread
- Communication via RS485 (PreSens proprietary or Modbus RTU)
- 4 - 20 mA analog output
Applications
OXYPro® for Your Bioreactor
This optical oxygen probe can easily be connected to your control system. Precise oxygen measurements enable control and contribute to safe and stable culture conditions. The OXYPro® can be mounted to standard ports, and stand cleaning in place and steam sterilization. No membrane cleaning or replenishment of electrolyte solutions is necessary. A used sensor cap can easily be exchanged, as the sensor can be calibrated with a fast barcode scan. This low maintenance probes reduce the work load considerably.
Monitoring Industrial Processes
The OXYPro® series probes are designed for harsh measurement conditions. Additionally they are almost maintenance-free as they do not contain any membranes and electrolytes, so they are ideally suited for monitoring chemical industrial processes or oxygen sensitive applications. They can be used for gaseous or dissolved oxygen monitoring in most different environments, like e. g. tubes or vessels.
