The new single-use flow-through cell for dissolved CO2 measurements completes the well-proofed range of PreSens FTCs for precise online measurements in complex bioreactor or perfusion systems.

With the new "SensorPlugs" from PreSens, oxygen, carbon dioxide and the pH value can be monitored directly in micro-channels, which is an important factor for success. This enables e. g. a precise control of biological reactions and thus provide crucial information about the reaction rae in the tissue, e. g. in the fight against cancer.

PreSens congratulates this year's Nobel Laureates and is pleased that attention has been paid to hypoxia in research in this way.

Continuously growing variant diversity of oxygen flow-through cells by PreSens

The research association FORTiTher 'Tumor Diagnostics for Individualized Therapy' will receive about 2 million Euros to work on new high-tech test procedures in the next few years. An oxygen imaging system from PreSens will also be used.
